The Intermotor™ brand has built its reputation by engineering and distributing a full line of genuine import parts – parts that are unrivalled for quality, original look, fit, form & function, as well as coverage.

Standard Motor Products, Inc. has taken Genuine Intermotor™, a world renowned import brand, and made it available in the United States. Our Intermotor™ brand has already had a major impact on the import business. As the import segment has grown, SMP has adapted to the changing market needs of our customers.

The combination of SMP’s resources and the highly regarded Intermotor™ brand name, has positioned Intermotor™ in the United States as a broad import engine management line that includes ignition and electrical, relays, switches and sensors with a concentration on high technology categories such as computerized engine controls, fuel injection and emission controls.

Our primary Intermotor™ European manufacturing facility is located in Bialystok, Poland. This modern facility has received both ISO & TS accreditations to guarantee a high standard of quality throughout our product offering and ensure a quality management system that provides for continual improvement and production of the finest import product.

Ongoing investment in our European based manufacturing facilities as well as our commitment to advanced research and development supported by SMP’s global resources helps ensure that Intermotor™ will continue to manufacture and distribute premium quality engine management parts for import vehicles and remain a leader in the North American import market.
